Scriptures underline that to realize God and to attain His "divine love", it is NOT essential one should become
a hermit (sanyasi) and renounce the material world.
One could pursue material goals and desires. One could also discharge responsibilities associated with various
worldly roles -- parent, sibling, child, employee, boss, friend, ideologue, etc. At the same time, one could aspire to realize
God.
Have desires, but try to fulfil them without losing your latent spiritual dimension. Share whatever you can with
the less fortunate.
